Find funds faster with new grants platform

A free online portal will make it easier than ever for local businesses, community groups, not-for-profit organisations and individuals to monitor available funding opportunities. 

Scenic Rim Regional Council has proudly partnered with GrantGuru to create the Scenic Rim Grants Finder, a customised online tool designed to help users access close to $70 billion available nationally across 1200 grants.  

Scenic Rim Mayor and Economic Development and Prosperity Portfolio Councillor Greg Christensen, said the new platform brought a range of local, state and national grants together in one central location, helping residents to quickly search and identify relevant funding opportunities.  

"Grants make great things happen and help to build thriving communities," he said. 

"There's so many great funding opportunities available to our constituents, however, finding the right grant and applying for it can sometimes seem complex and time-consuming.  

"Many people don’t know where to begin, which is why Council has partnered with the Grant Guru platform to create this free one-stop funding resource." 

With grants opening, closing and changing regularly, Mayor Christensen said the Scenic Rim Grant Finder took the guesswork out of applying for funding.  

"This platform simplifies the grants journey so you never have to miss an opportunity again," he said.  

"Users can register to receive alerts when new grants relevant to them become available, or changes are made to existing grants. 

"There are also great tips and resources for understanding grants, preparing applications and managing funding."
