CEO recruitment process is still underway

The process for recruiting to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Scenic Rim Regional Council is still underway.

Applications for the position closed on 25 July 2022.

Council received in excess of 70 applications from a broad range of high-calibre and experienced candidates from across the country, as far as Western Australia.

Council underwent a comprehensive recruitment process, and the matter was discussed as a confidential item during Tuesday's Ordinary Council meeting. 

At this stage, the process of finalising the appointment of a new CEO is still underway.

There is no fixed date for an appointment, but Council anticipates to have reached a decision by late October 2022.

Council will be sure to release more information once it is available.
