WASTE SERVICES UPDATE - 10 March 2025, 5.00pm

Council continues to assess the situation in relation to household wheeled bin collections throughout the region, as a result of significant flooding from Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Due to current flooding, servicing of wheeled bins in the west of our region (Boonah and surrounds), will not proceed on Tuesday 11 March 2025.

For the remainder of the region, normal services will recommence where it is safe to do so (flood waters, fallen powerlines, and other debris permitting).  For these areas, please place your bins out by 6.00am if it is your normal bin day (and it is safe to do so).  

Council's Waste Transfer Stations will be inspected on Tuesday morning - and will be opened where possible.  

Council will continue to monitor flood waters and provide further updates as soon as possible.  Please check Council's Disaster Dashboard for further updates.
