Calling all artists, cultural workers, and creatives - Let's get RADF ready!
If you are a Scenic Rim artist, arts or cultural worker or organisation, Council has a range of grant funding streams available that could bring your creative ideas to life!
What is RADF? |

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between state and local governments that invests in quality arts and cultural experiences across Queensland based on locally determined priorities. RADF promotes the role and value of arts, culture and heritage as key drivers to support diversity and inclusivity and grow strong regions |
Provide public value for Queensland communities Provide opportunities for local communities to participate in arts and cultural activities Deliver Queensland Government’s objectives for the community. Build local cultural capacity, cultural innovation and community pride |
Three funding streams, three opportunities!
Delivered by Council, in partnership with the state government, the 2025-2026 RADF Program will include three funding streams. These include the Big Ideas, Launch Pad Young Creatives, and Express Lane Quick Response grants.
All three funding streams are intended to support Scenic Rim artists to achieve their creative goals!

Who can apply? Individual professional artists, emerging professional artists, arts workers, and cultural workers. Arts and cultural organisations based in the Council area, or outside the Council area and able to demonstrate project benefits for the Scenic Rim |
Who can apply? Emerging artists and producers aged 16-25 years. |

How much can I apply for? The Big Ideas RADF grant stream has a total of $52,500 to allocate across successful applicants.
Reach out to Council to start the conversation on how you could get your 'big idea' funded. |
How much can I apply for? Launch Pad grants are capped at $1,000. There is a total of $5,000 to allocate across successful applicants. |
How much can I apply for? Express Lane Quick Response grants are capped at $1,000 for Queensland events and $1,500 for interstate. There is a total of $5,000 to allocate across successful applicants. |
Outcome Reports All activities that have received RADF investment are required to complete an outcome report within 8 weeks of the completion of their project. Council will advise you around these requirements, and offer support where we can. |
It’s time to get RADF ready!
Did you know that Scenic Rim creatives have proven to be more successful in securing RADF grant funding by working with the Council's Cultural Services team to help prepare their submissions?
Ahead of the 2025-2026 RADF Program opening on 1 July 2025, Council will be hosting a series of workshops to help our local creatives to prepare their RADF submissions.
Informal meetings will be held at various locations across the region in April 2025, including:
- Monday 7 April - Spice of Life - Main Street Tamborine - 10.00am-12.00pm
- Monday 7 April - Café Metz - Canungra - 1.00pm-3.00pm
- Thursday 10 April - Arthur Clive's - Boonah - 9.30am-11.30am
- Thursday 10 April - Arthur Clive's - Aratula - 12.00pm-1.30pm
- Thursday 10 April - Wiss Emporium - Kalbar - 2.00pm-4.00pm
- Wednesday 16 April - VK Everyday - Beaudesert - 1.00pm-3.00pm
- Wednesday 16 April - Billabong Café - Kooralbyn - 10.00am-12.00pm

Funding Streams are still available for the 2024-2025 RADF Program!
There are still funding streams available in the 2024-2025 RADF Program - which close once funds are exhausted. Funds are still available for the Launch Pad Young Creatives and Express Lane Quick Response grants. Don't delay, contact Council today.
