Dive In For Free Fun At Council's Pool Parties

Celebrate the coming of summer with free family fun at pool parties across the Scenic Rim next month.

With temperatures set to rise, Council is planning free pool parties to keep everyone cool and entertained with neon pool tubes, games, music, and giveaways.

Mayor Greg Christensen encouraged Scenic Rim residents to take the plunge and make the most of the free Saturday events during November.

"These free pool parties take place at just the right time, with families preparing the budget for Christmas and the weather warming up," he said.

"With free entry, families can enjoy a range of activities and entertainment without having to break the bank."

Make a splash at Canungra Pool on Saturday 10 November from 11am to 2pm. The fun continues at Boonah Pool on Saturday 17 November from 11am to 2pm. Jump on in at Tamborine Mountain Pool on Saturday 24 November from 11am until 2pm.

There will also be free fair dinkum fun with an Australia Day pool party at Beaudesert on Saturday 26 January from 10am to 2pm.

"Remember to be sun smart when having fun outdoors by staying hydrated, wearing a hat and sunglasses, and applying sunscreen throughout the day," Cr Christensen said.
