Scam Alert

Be on the alert for scammers looking to clean up in the wake of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. A number of vulnerable members of our community have already fallen victim to callous individuals offering cleaning and disaster recovery services.

Please warn family members, friends and neighbours to be on the lookout for cold callers. Disasters can bring out the best in people but sadly they can also bring out the worst. Be sure to check the credentials of service providers and don't give money or personal information to anyone if unsure.
