Region-wide road reseals ready to roll

Scenic Rim Regional Council's $4.3 million program of road reseals is ready to roll in early March at 59 locations across the Scenic Rim, from Aratula to Beechmont.
Funded under Council's 2024-2025 Budget, more than 80 kilometres of works will be carried out in line with Council's commitment to the continuous improvement and renewal of the local road network.
Scenic Rim's Transport and Infrastructure Portfolio Councillor Duncan McInnes said the road reseals were part of Council's $37.1 million capital works program for 2024-2025.
"With tourism and agriculture underpinning our local economy, our region relies on quality infrastructure," he said.
"Council is continuing to invest heavily in improving our transport networks for the benefit of local communities and visitors to the Scenic Rim."
Motorists can expect minor disruptions to traffic flows during the works.
"Council appreciates the patience of members of the community as these works are carried out," Cr McInnes said.
