Pack the picnic blanket for Council's free movie nights under the stars

The stars will be out when Scenic Rim Regional Council presents its free family movies in the park from this weekend. 

The curtain raiser in the 2024 Movies in the Park series will be on Saturday 9 November at Jubilee Park Beaudesert with Despicable Me 4 rated PG. 

The free family fun continues on Saturday 16 November at Coronation Park, Boonah, and Saturday 23 November at the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds. 

It's BYO family, friends and blankets with movies to be shown on a large inflatable screen from 6.30pm. 

Local community groups will be selling food and drinks. 

Despicable Me 4 is the latest in this animation adventure series, with the world's former number one villain, Gru, welcoming a new family member determined to cause chaos, while the family faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend, Valentina.
