Swearing-in of Scenic Rim's new Mayor and Councillors

Following the Electoral Commission of Queensland's declaration of the final results of the 16 March 2024 local government elections, the swearing-in of Scenic Rim's Mayor and Councillors for the 2024-2028 Council term will take place at The Centre Beaudesert on Thursday 4 April at 4pm. 

The new Council team will comprise: 

• Mayor elect Tom Sharp 
• Division 1 Councillor elect Amanda Hay  
• Division 2 Councillor elect Kerri Cryer 
• Division 3 Councillor elect Stephen Moriarty 
• Division 4 Councillor elect Jennifer Sanders 
• Division 5 Councillor elect Marshall Chalk, and 
• Division 6 Councillor elect Duncan McInnes OAM. 

The media is invited to attend the swearing-in. For those unable to attend, a media release and photos will be available.
