Council provides waste reduction and resource recovery education and information campaigns to schools, businesses and the general public.
Waste reduction through enhanced resource recovery, and community education are crucial to keeping the Scenic Rim spectacular. Success relies upon a collaborative effort from Council, businesses and residents. Council is always looking to build on waste awareness, education initiatives, and looking to partner with businesses leading in this space.

Get Grubby Program
The 'Get Grubby' program is an online sustainability curriculum for early learning places and schools. Council has waived the usual membership fee of $1500 for all child-care, day care, family day care and primary schools in the Scenic Rim.
