Customer Service and Administration Centres

Customer Service and Administration Centres are operating as normal at Beaudesert, Boonah and Tamborine Mountain with hygiene and social distancing measures in place. Where possible, we encourage customers to call Council between 8.30am and 4.30pm on 07 5540 5111, email at mail@scenicrim.qld.gov.au, or submit a request online.

Council facilities and recreation

All Council facilities, including skateparks, campgrounds, swimming pools and off-leash dog areas are operating as normal, in-line with the latest health advice. Please follow health directions and social distancing to keep yourself and other patrons safe.

Waste Transfer Stations and Waste Collection

Council's network of seven waste transfer stations are operating as normal. Find out more, including locations and operating hours, here.

Council's Waste Collection service is operating as normal. Remember to put your bins our before 6.00am on your collection day. Find out more here.

Library Programs 

All Scenic Rim Library events and programs have now resumed. This includes programs and events such as story times, rhyme times, digital day bookings, First 5 Forever outreach programs, story times in the park and all ongoing weekly children's programs.

Be Healthy & Active sessions

Be Healthy & Active sessions are being delivered as scheduled, in-line with the current health advice. Visit What's On Scenic Rim for a full calendar of upcoming events.

Exhibitions and Cultural Programs 

Exhibitions and Cultural Programs are continuing as scheduled, visit the Live at The Centre for upcoming events.

All patrons need to register their attendance by scanning a QR code on entry, or seeking help from one of cultural centres staff. All individuals entering The Centre Beaudesert and the Boonah Cultural Centre (patrons, employees, artists, performers, crew, contractors and suppliers (16+ years) will need to check in via the Check-In Qld QR Code displayed at the centre’s entry and show proof of vaccination or certified medical exemption. The Vonda Youngman Community Centre is a designated community centre. Check-In Qld QR Code and social distancing requirements remain in place. Proof of vaccination is at the discretion of hirers. All Council venues have COVID-Safe plans in place as per Queensland Government guidelines.
