CEO recruitment process is underway

The process for recruiting to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Scenic Rim Regional Council is well underway.

Applications for the position closed on 25 July 2022.

Council received in excess of 70 applications from a broad range of high-calibre and experienced candidates from across the country, as far as Western Australia.

Council is currently undertaking a comprehensive recruitment process, which is progressing well. 
There is no fixed date for an appointment yet, but Council anticipates to have reached a decision by October 2022.
Council will be sure to release more information once it is available.
