Waste information

Our scheduled waste collections resumed today in areas where local road conditions allow.

The significant and ongoing impacts of the flooding on our roads, and the availability of Council staff who were isolated by flooding, mean we cannot carry out catch-up collections.

The next collections will be as scheduled, subject to weather conditions and access in affected areas.

We are continuing to develop plans for waste collection for communities that may have reduced road access for an extended time.

Our waste facilities are all now open during normal hours and flood-damaged furniture can now be taken to waste transfer stations.
