Community Invited To Put Its Two Cents' Worth On Grants

Scenic Rim community members have been invited to have their say at a public meeting when the Queensland Local Government Grants Commission visits Beaudesert next week.

Mayor Greg Christensen said members of the Grants Commission will be meeting with Council to discuss the annual Financial Assistance Grant and related matters.

"This is an opportunity for interested members of the community to participate and ask questions about grant funding which Council relies on to support its delivery of services and infrastructure to the Scenic Rim," he said.

The meeting will be held at Council Chambers, 82 Brisbane Street, Beaudesert from 10am to 11.30am on Thursday 31 January.
