Christmas and New Year opening hours 2020-21

Scenic Rim Regional Council offices, Customer Services and Administration Centres, Libraries and Cultural Centres will close for the Christmas and New Year Period at 4.30pm on Wednesday 23 December.

Council offices, Customer Services and Administration Centres and Libraries will reopen on Monday 4 January 2021. Council's Cultural Centres will reopen on Tuesday 5 January.

For emergencies (such as a tree over the road), which requires Council support, please call 5540 5111. This line is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For non-urgent matters, please telephone Council on 5540 5111 when our offices reopen at 8.30am on Monday 4 January 2021.

Waste services

Waste collection services will continue to operate as normal during the holiday season, including both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Please remember to have your bin ready for collection no later than 6am on your designated collection day.

During the Christmas and New Year period, Council's waste transfer stations will operate as normal, with the exception of Christmas Day when they will be closed.
